Why We Started Rofio
Rofio started with a problem we experienced ourselves.
Before building this agency, both of us were active content creators. We worked with brands, participated in influencer campaigns, and experienced how agency-led collaborations operated behind the scenes.
Over time, we noticed a recurring problem in the industry: a lack of transparency between brands, agencies, and creators.
In some collaborations, agencies retained a disproportionately large share of campaign budgets while creators received only a small portion. Creators were not always given a clear understanding of the actual campaign arrangements, agency commissions, or how brand budgets were distributed.
We also noticed that brands sometimes struggled to understand where their marketing budgets were going and whether they were receiving genuine value from their influencer partnerships.
We experienced these situations personally. We understand that agencies need to earn revenue, and we are not against commissions. However, we believe that commissions should be reasonable, transparent, and clearly communicated to everyone involved.
That experience gave us the motivation to build Rofio.
